Have you ever wanted to make your own silver rings? Join Fiona from Jewellery Moves for a day of making, learning and creativity. At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver rings (one of which is hand-stamped and personalised). You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and set a cabochon stone within one of your rings. You will leave at the end of the day with three beautiful rings which fit you perfectly.

About Jewellery Moves:

Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.

Materials:

The cost of the silver and stones are not included in the course fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £40-£50 and payable to the tutor on the day.

What to bring:

• A packed lunch

• Please make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them. Everything else will be supplied.

• A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you cancel your booking, we are unable to offer a refund or a transfer onto another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
