SILVER EARRINGS

Level: Beginner
At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. Everyone will leave with one pair of hoops or dangly earrings and a pair of studs. No previous experience is necessary. You will be shown options of designs and then helped to tweak them to suit your own personal style.
About Jewellery Moves:
Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.
Materials:
The cost of the silver is not included in the course fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £30-£40 and payable to the tutor on the day.
What to bring:
A packed lunch
Please make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them.

A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
