Level: beginners and up

Create a festive modern weave wall hanging in this full day workshop.  You will be taught basic weaving techniques using a wooden loom & hand crafted Ukrainian tools.  Learn different stitches including fringe, somac, Rye & Lark’s head knots & looped Tabby stitch along with creating stunning accessories including stars & personalised tags from air dry clay. 

Using sustainable reclaimed materials including yarns, metallic threads and beads. Mounted on beautiful natural driftwood.  Perfect for gifting with a personalised touch. 

What to bring:

• Recommendation: If you would like to bring along any reclaimed material that has sentimental value to incorporate in your piece this can be is a special way to remember someone or a memory and be wonderful touch to a personal gift!

• A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you onto another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
