INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING
INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING
Thursday 20th February
Tutor: Carolyn Beale
LAST FEW REMAINING
10:00 - 16:00
Level: Beginners
Did you do lino printing at school, but have not had the opportunity to develop your skills? Or perhaps have you admired lino prints and wondered how they are produced? If so, this could be the workshop for you.
The aim of this workshop is to explain and demonstrate the process, from choosing your image, cutting your lino and finally to printing. You will first produce a single colour print, which can then be printed in a variety of ways and colours.
What to bring:
All you need to bring is an apron and maybe some ideas for printing (reference images will be available)
A packed lunch
Included on the day:
All materials (lino, ink, paper - you may bring your own tools if you prefer). We also have cutting tools, brayers and printing inks for sale.
Expert tuition

A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc.
And of course you take your wonderful creations from the day. If you share any photographs of your day here and/or your finished work, we’d love to see them so please tag us @micklemsfarmcreativeworkshops or use the hashtag #micklemsfarmcreativeworkshops.
