On this fun one-day workshop you will make a beautiful ceramic hare using lace, fabric and rubber stamping to add decorative texture. You will learn how to quickly create a basic armature using simple household items.

You’ll be shown how to build your hare by cutting shapes from clay, imprinted with your chosen textures, rolled out using a slab roller. Expression can be added throughout the process after which your hare will be dried, fired and coloured off site. You’ll both be re-united within 2-3 weeks (to be collected from Micklems Farm).

Please bring:

• A packed lunch

• Apron

• Any hare images that you would like to work from.

• A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
